Hey ladies, so lately my skin has been very oily. :-( I have combination skin. So my forehead, nose, chin and little on my cheeks get super oily at times.
All you need is...
&
Yes just these two items is all you need for an awesome diy face mask. If you don't have oily/combination skin then I suggest using sugar instead. :-)
I use 1 teaspoon of Honey, and 1 teaspoon of salt. We don't want this to drip all over the place so it should be pretty thick and gritty.
Then you put this on a clean face. Massage it in gently we don't want to hurt ourselves! :-) Then leave on for 10 - 15 minutes or until its dried. Then wash it off.
Your face will feel so great after! Now I noticed that I didn't get as oily through out the day. But this is for me. who knows how it will be for you. But I do know that, this is great for your skin.
You could also mix up a bigger batch to use in the shower as well for that dry winter skin! :-)
Let me know how it goes! I love hearing about other peoples experiences with diy stuff! :-)
Thanks for reading,
xo

I love this and I've only done it a couple of times so far! xo It also helps with black heads, white heads because of the salt, the honey moisturizes :-)

Honey is wonderful for my dry skin, funny how it works for oily skin too!

My most used DIY products are the lemon juice&sugar scrub, and honey&cinnamon mask. I just love them!
I love love homemade face masks!! I do this one sometimes too!
Useful daily routine
Hi :) I was told to use honey as a mask to make my skin look really good so I was sceptical and decided to Google for more information. I found your blog and this encouraged me even more to try it. After seeing your blog and all the comments I decided to give it a shot! I'm so impressed with the results.. what I done was I mixed about a 2:2 ratio of Manuka honey with some lemon juice (pure, straight from an organic lemon) and mixed it with about a tablespoon of Pink Himalayan rock salt. Worked wonders as an exfoliant and I could literally see the blackheads lift off my nose effortlessly.. well, obviously with a bit of a squeeze :) but ohh my god the difference in my complexion after one use! Anyway, I would definetly reccomend this to anyone who's got oily to dry skin.. I left the mixture on for at least ten to fifteen minutes, even made my fiancé try it with a bit of convincing and him being the man he is, said he didn't notice a difference, after claiming it didn't he couldn't stop touching his face and looking in the mirror lmao! It's amazing stuff! X
I just tried this and like just wow my skin is radiant *queues magical sound effect* I think I'm going to start doing this for my whole body.
Tried the honey and salt mask it makes me look younger people asking me my friend said every time she sees me I look younger.
now my sister and friend is using it and my boyfriend puts it on and he said that his skin feels soft.
Honey and salt is brilliant I put it on and leave it for a few hours I no its only 10-15 minutes but it works for me and when I was it off my face feels like silk.:)
Honey works wonders it lights up my skin and fades the black heads this is truly magic so glad I found it I will use this for ever and ever.
Honey is my secret it makes my skin glow I love it.
