I bought this palette and I had wanted to do a look using it but everytime I was going to I'd end up reaching for my Greed palette which I love!! So I finally today I was reaching for it and was like no! I need to use it today! haha
The colors are so beautiful! I didn't ever like using blue or green eyeshadows.. I would shy away from them! I shy'd away from eyeshadows in general. simply because I didn't know how wear them.. apply it... etc.
I was a liquid eyeliner girl plain and simple! Until I started watching youtube videos.. that changed my view on it so much ..thanks to beautiful and talented ladies who blog and do videos... Blue all had me at hello!
So the key to this look is blending and blending and layering and blending some more.. I wanted a nice transition of all the colors. I wanted you to see the sea blues. EVERY one of them.. including the black.
After I put on primer I used a nice flesh tone e/s (brulee) for easier blending. (I find it helpful)
Next, I used the 1st color marked on the palette only in the crease and lightly blend the edges (we will blend more later)
I then used the 2nd color marked and put that in the outter corner creating a V. I then lightly blended it in with the 1st color.
Next, I took the matte black which is the 3rd color and created more depth in the eye. In doing so I put it on top the 2nd color.. lightly blending
I then took a big fluffy brush and picked up brulee (flesh tone e/s) and put it around the edges so that when I blend it makes a nice transition. Then blend the edges out.. this always takes me forever because I'm a perfectionist.
If I over blended thats fine if so i'll go back and add little more.. just a little bit at a time. I really don't like fall out so I don't jam pack it on to my brush.
Then I lined the bottom with the 1st color then the 2nd then lined very closely to the waterline I used the 3rd color. lightly blend. Put on liquid eyeliner, curled my lashes used my fav mascara. Then I was done! :-)
Now I hope that wasn't too confusing. I tried to explain it as best as I could
Thank you so much for reading!
