Hard Candy Mini Haul + Review

So, my grams didn't know what to get me for Christmas... so she let me pick out what I had wanted to get instead!

Since my grams doesn't have alot of money she suggested that she buy me some makeup so I didn't argue with that! ha ha

She bought me a few things from Hard Candy (So Baked Bronzer in Heat Wave, Blush Crush Baked Blush in Living Doll, 1,000 lashes fiberized lash weave mascara in midnight black and a Wetn' Wild H20liquid eyeliner in black.She also bought me a box of Ardell eyelashes which I didn't take a pic of because I forgot ha ha)

I was iffy about the Sheer Envy tinted moisturizer by them but decided to get it anyways just to try it out! And I must say I was satisfied with it!

I don't just use it by itself I put on my smashbox primer then put the tinted moisturizer on then my Revlon Photo Ready foundation.

When I do it this way my foundation looks AMAZING!! Especially in pictures. But if you have oily skin then I don't recommend this. My face feels dewy afterwards and after the entire day I did notice that my face did get a bit oily but not over excessively to sway me away from doing this! I coupled it with the So Baked Bronzer on my temples cheeks and contoured with it and I love this too! I am totally throwing out my old bronzer.

I then put on my regular blush from tarte and put the Blush Crush Baked Blush on over top.... jeezus try saying that 10 times! If you can I will bow down! I tried and couldn't ha ha

The Blush Crush Baked Blush seriously reminded me of something and I couldn't put my finger on it! Then it hit me...

It reminded me of Laura Gellers Ethereal Rose Face powder, so I swatched the two side by side and whattya know they do share a similar look buuuuut

The Hard Candy blush was more pigmented and looks and feels waaay better! Not to mention it does not have huge chunks of glitter in it! I know that the blush is blush and the face powder from laura geller is a face powder. But I used the Laura Geller powder just over top of my blush to add a lil ompft to it! The so baked bronzer is like that too! It has a finer grain of glitter in it more like shimmer which personally bronzer should look more of a shimmer than a glimmer... same with an all over face powder... kinda looks like you put silver glitter all over your face! yuck! I checked out my previous pictures using the stuff and I highly recommend Hardy Candy's Blush and Bronzer! Yes I noticed the glimmer much much more. And you shouldn't buuuut the choice is up to you! If you want to save money and have a better product then yes go for the Hard Candy! ;-)

Please don't spend the money on the Laura Geller stuff! I only bought mine from ebay for like 7 bucks! woot woot so that wasn't too bad!

Yes in this one I am wearing the eyelashes they are the 101 demi's.

Right now I don't really have a comment on the Hard Candy's 1,000 lashes mascara yet. The eyeliner from Wet n' Wild though seriously is a crazy liquid eyeliner it does not come off! It stays put like mad crazy! I liiiiiiiike it!

Circle Lens Review - Geo Ash Wing

I had bought me some of these babies after watching a you-tuber rave about them

so i was like "I need to get me some of these!" .. "wow" .. "amazing"

"OMG they are how much!?!"

Anyways, they came to about $27.00 dollars CAN (incl. shipping) I bought them online from http://www.candylens.com/ .. don't quote me on the price because it will vary depending on where you live. (the currency conversion)

I let them soak the 8 hours and I waited it too! I'm shocked with myself because I was sooooo soooo excited to get them in the mail! (see pic below)

Wait ... don't be scared! Its me with no make-up on! Yes I know scary and ugly! trust me I already know! *hangs head in shame*

Anywho, I got them opened them up and seriously I felt soo special (not short bus special jus FYI) they put a little note in with it .. had my name on it! It also came with a little contact holder thingy. Which I might say was very practical because then I didn't have to go out and buy one just for it! So I was stoked! woot woot I think I got little bears or something... not too sure but it was cute! Then I soaked them in my solution that I normally use for my contacts. (pic below) I don't have a video camera so I can't show you exactly what I did. But if you go to their site they have everything you need to know there! Again there site is http://www.candylens.com/

Put them in and was ready for a night out in the town! See pic below I look better Its all goooooooood! ha ha I don't wanna scare you away or anything!

You may think that they are very out there bam in your face colored contacts but they totally aren't in the real! They are very subtle. When I'm wearing them and the building has dark lighting my eyes look like they have a bit of a twinkle to them and you can't help but stare. When you're up close and you look at my eyes then you can notice that they are in fact a different color

I was in Wal-Mart the other day and a friend of mine was standing a foot away and she noticed them right away was like "omg, they look soo nice" So, it really depends on lighting and who notices.. like my granny didn't notice anything at all! ha ha

They mostly show alot of color in pictures I noticed, since my eyes are very dark already so this is just on me! They also do enlarge your eyes a bit. They have a wide assortment of lenses there so I'm sure that you'll find some that you are looking for!

Ahhh yes before I forget they are prescription. Some people say that they make their eyes drier but on me they don't they are perfectly fine!

I looooooove them! I am most def going to be buying more from there!

Rimmel Tutorial - Dark Angel Trio Palette

Okay so I was a little bored and decided to do a tutorial on Rimmel London's Dark Angel Trio! Three beautiful colors that I'm loving right now!

Here is the look that I came up with for this color scheme! I hope you like it!

The first thing that I did was apply a matte white all over the lid - blend it

The next thing that I did was take the silver eyeshadow and applied it to the inner corner of my lid and dragged it to the middle and did the same to the bottom

Then I took the purple color and put that from the outter corner of my eye up into the crease and blended like crazy and faded it into the brow bone

Next i took my fluffy brush and put a generous amount of the blackish grey on the outter corner of my lid and blended that until I wanted the shape the way I had wanted it. remember blend blend blend!!

As you can see i added a different silver to the brow bone because the silver just wasn't as pigmented as I had wanted it to be. And added a little bit to the inner corners top and bottom of my lid and lined the bottom lashes with the purple and blended

Then I put on my favorite mascara and liquid eyeliner and bit of black pencil liner to the bottom lash line.

Haul & Swatches

Ok so yesterday I went to Shoppers Drug Mart and seen that they were having a sale on Annabelle lip gloss 2 for 1 for $5.00

They both come in a package of two! and it has two random colors the colors I picked are Venus Vibe (top) and Flashdance (bottom)

And here is a picture below of Venus Vibe on me! (sorry for the crap pic)

Below here is a swatch of the both of them and a review at the bottom.

So on with the review as you could see by the pictures they are very pigmented if you build the color up. They are very nice lip glosses and I would most def by them again.. they aren't really sticky. But they do have a little bit but not to sway me away from wearing them they are very creamy as well gotta say i absolutely love them!

Well I hoped this was an alright review! It was my first but with many more to come!

I have decided ... dun dun duh

Okay so, I am going to try and do some makeup tutorials on my blog

because I have seriously nothing more to do with my time! ha ha

This will keep me sane so bare with me on this! I will need some help so if there are any beautiful women out there that will be kind enough to give me some tips/ideas then fly att'er

I'm telling you guys because I have nobody else to tell! ha ha yes I am a sad sad loner! just kidding I could tell people but it seems to be easier to take criticism through the computer than it is in real life... if that makes sense... dunno makes sense to me.

What is a stay at home mother to do?. . .

Hello there, Ok so I have no idea if someone is even reading my blog if not thats ok... if you take a look and its not what you like thats fine too. If you do then awesome. I only started a blog to enter a contest and didn't win unfortunately. Not that I was under the impression that I was going to.. it was just for fun.. now here I am typing away just chit chatting it up with someones or someone who might not be there! ha ha

You know people try to think of ways to occupy their time with me I have tried sewing, crocheting, reading but luckily for me that one has stuck for about a year now so thats good... but its also hurting my budget! ha ha but i sure do love it. Nothing is better than sitting down and grabbing your newest book and then finding out it is amazing.. then your hooked. I guess I kinda know what an addict is like in that sense because when I start reading a book and I like it I can't get enough. I have to read and read and read some more! Then when I'm finished my book, I'm sad because I either have to wait or it is done the tale. So I always try and look for books that are in a series because I just can't get enough. Or I buy more books right after and start all over again...

I guess what I'm trying to say is, is that whoever you are, whatever you are doing Just know this ... a book is waiting for you to pick it up and enjoy it because it lets your escape it can be your best friend or your worst enemy in my world its both. So yeah take care! TilI I type away again!
