When I went to Wal-Mart a few weeks ago (this was when I bought the 2nd jar of maybellines matte mousse) I had seen this product by Rimmel. Thought to myself well I'm all out of my smashbox primer and haven't yet bought any. So, I figured why not try this out.... not only just to try but because this was less than $8 CAN.
It says that it smooths your skin and minimizes pores while evens out your complexion. This product does have a tint to it (a golden peach tone) For my skin this is great because I do have a darker skin tone. I read some reviews on this and some lighter skin toned ladies they didn't like it because it left their skin looking a bit orange.
Okay, first off how much of this product are you putting on? ha ha. Because, me personally after a bad incident with the smashbox 2 in 1 primer. I learned my lesson that less is more! If you are lighter skinned beauty then use less because this has a tint. Number 1 rule I stick by BLEND and then some when it comes to foundation that does not completely match your skin tone. Number 2 rule I have with primers is wait until it is dry then apply foundation.
Maybe I'm just being an ass but there are a bunch of reviews by ladies who have a lighter skin tone and they love it! Ok, I'm done with my rant. :-D
I applied more the primer on my hand so that you could see the results. It does visibly smooth the skin and it does prolong the wear of foundation. This is great for people who are on budget. But this does not beat my smashbox primer. I am still in love with it. But I like this also. It does have a scent to it which isn't horrible and goes away after you apply your foundation.
If there is anything that I forgot just post a comment and I will update the post with new info! :-)

Good review! I think I might stay clear since I am ghostly white lol. But this is great for everyday use since the price is so cheap and then use expensive stuff on special occasions! I actually haven't seen this out yet, but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough lol. I forget did you try the hard candy primer? Il
This sounds pretty good overall! I don't generally buy Rimmel though. :)
i didn't like this primer and the smell is horrible i prefer the hard candy primer , i have a giveaway in my blog a glymm box .
